ALT
worked closely with Lucent to provide complementary
system integration services. This included
partnering with Lucent’s field engineers
to deliver multiple sites for an international
telecommunications carrier on time. ALT’s
teams installed and configured complex telecommunications
equipment, including indoor units of wireless
radios. ALT worked with Lucent field engineers
to bring sites on-line, and visible to the
NOC (network operations center).
System Integration
ALT performed needs analysis identifying
requirements for upgrading sites from TDM
to ATM technology. ALT installed and configured
the Lucent PSAX, Stinger and IAD ATM devices
at multiple locations nationwide. This effort
included installing the layer 1 connectivity
from all SNMP devices at each site, configuring
equipment, and providing circuit turn-up.
Broadband Circuit Turn-up
ALT worked with service providers to turn-up
and test circuits both on-site, and working
with Lucent field engineers remotely. Once
the circuits were tested, the equipment
was tested for SNMP visibility at the NOC.
